What's included in a boiler service?

Typically a boiler service will include the following checks by Avon and Wiltshire Heating:

• Ventilation provision
• Gas pressure and heat input (for gas boilers only)
• All boiler safety devices
• The following boiler components:
  • Heat exchangers

• Performance test (on all boilers with a suitable test point or accessible flue terminal)

Phil has extensive fault finding experience and has undergone various manufacturer fault finding courses and electrical courses which enable him to make a thorough diagnosis to make an informed decision for boiler repairs. He does not advocate a replacement appliance for boilers or heaters unless there is good reason. Where a fault may lie in the heating system and not the appliance, he would always advise you which items is required before carrying out the work. In circumstances where Phil believes an item should be replaced or repaired because it is worn he would advise and report the best form of resolution. He would not carry out any work without your instruction to do so.
